Nein is a artistic curatorial platform led by artist/curator Laurens Mariën.
Nein looks for alternative forms of exhibitions both on a conceptual and an architectural level.
The project started in 2013 with the exhibition Jawohl Jawohl followed by Hard Gelag in 2014 in the former artspace Croxhapox. In the same year I worked together with Charlotte Van Buylaere on Architecture Of Authority. For an extensive description of all my projects, check my cv.
All these projects led to my masters project: On Ice. This was an exhibition on a skating rink. The exhibition was co-curated by Leontien Allemeersch and came into being in collaboration with CAMPO.
In February of 2020, I will realise another production in collaboration with CAMPO, Kunsthal Gent & d e t h e a t e r m a k e r. The arts festival Enter Through the Void, Exit Through the Gift Shop, will be co-curated by Adriënne Van Der Werf (the amazing woman who's with me in the pictures by Tiny)

f.o.t.a Is a collective founded by architect Joris Kerremans (°1990) and curator Laurens Mariën (°1990).
The collective aims to develop structures/frameworks in which they act both as artist and curator. To collaborate and to support other artists is a necessary condition within their production. By doing so, the result gets a bivalent reason to exist: as a physical object with spatial features on the one hand and as a platform for critical practice on the other.
By combining both their experience as architect and curator, f.o.t.a. aims to fundamentally think and re-think spaces, formats, discourses and institutions.
