Embark on a peculiar, 12-hour-long journey covering Ghent’s historical icon. Night Shift takes over the Vooruit-building while concluding the ever-interesting Het Theaterfestival. All kinds of artists are given free rein once again and invite you for a mesmerising experience.

Night Shift combines artists from different backgrounds and disciplines by offering them an artistic wild card as well as an eclectic, public platform which is part of an established art organisation. Via an informal setting and by evoking a creative playground, they are free to present projects ranging from finished and crossover projects to thrilling experiments and try-outs, while triggering new relations with the public.

In a 12-hour-long swirling program, the actions succeed each other swiftly, allow for new interpretations and meanings, ultimately adding multiple layers. From dazzling and subtle performances, through in situ activated interventions and installations, to other less categorizable events: the night shift is irreversible!

Their stamp is clear and visible
the marks are made
the night shift is irreversible.
